Hello.  My name is Tim Star.  I live in the San Diego area, and have been conducting a series of interviews with people in the health/wellness/fitness areas.  The purpose is twofold:

  1. To find alternative sources of wellness - whether they be for the purposes of preventing ill health, or treating it - outside of the stereotypical "Western Medicine" box.  Our society is very much over-medicated, and many people would love to use different methods (and there are alternatives for MANY health issues) to treat their conditions, whatever they may be. However, one common problem is that we often don't know where to start looking for other avenues of treatment or prevention.  And, right behind that issue, is the question of who do you trust?  Which leads to the second purpose of these interviews...

  2. The success or failure of the treatment of nearly any condition, or of any self-regulated plan to lose weight, stop smoking, exercise, eat better, etc., is often very much dependant on the relationship a person has with their doctor/practitioner/therapist/mentor/etc.  Simply stated; if you don't like or trust the person giving you advice, you are less likely to carry through on the instructions they give you than if you really like the individual as a person and feel a connection with them.  Unfortunately, we often don't look for another choice if we don't like the first one.  Instead, we just give up on the treatment plan (or become very erratic about following it).

These interviews give you the opportunity to listen to what a chiropractor, acupuncturist, hypnotherapist, nutritionist, personal trainer or any of a large number of other professionals sounds like in conversation.  You get to hear the passion they have for their professions, their clients, and their treatment goals.  The idea is to give you an opportunity to connect with the person who you will make the best connection with, so that your results will be the very best they can be.  All before you ever even pick up the phone to make an appointment.

There will be a new interview released at least once a month.  I hope you find these recordings helpful, and if you'd like to suggest an interview candidate, please use the form on this page: CLICK HERE

Thank you,
Tim Star

OK, so let's give ya what ya came for, right?

This is the first interview being made available to the public.  I sat down with Wil Dieck, who is a certified hypnotherapist, with an office in the Mission Valley area of San Diego.  Wil is a bright, engaging guy, who really enjoys what he does for a living.

Click the link below to hear the interview.  It runs just over 30 minutes.   If you have any difficulties (or comments about the interview), please use the CONTACT FORM to notify me.  Enjoy!
